Bruce, You have been working as a talented producer and composer for long years. I've heard that you really do wonders with sound, but tell me, what is the most memorable achievement in your creative work?

Брюс ты много работал как продюсер лет,ето не легко всегда найти и написать хорошую песню, но скажи мне, какая песня проект тебе запомнился больше всего.

 

       My children, my family. From the music standpoint, there are so many memorable experiences that it is difficult to choose a single one.

Мои деит моя семья всегда были рядом в моем творчестве и было очень много запоминаюшихся моментов , сложно выбрать один.

Having said  that, I’ll name a few. 100% of all records that I made for gospel superstar, Andrae Crouch won multiple Grammies.

 This led to me working with  Madonna and Quincy Jones, which led to working with quite a few other excellent artists.

 Another is, as the owner of Cinema Show Music since 1977, I made a commitment to myself that I would dedicate myself & CSM to mentoring  children in need, foundation work fighting cancer, AIDS, Leukemia & others.

Еше важно,как владелец компании Cinema Show Music с 1977 года,я выбрал одно из важных направлений помогать детям нуждаюшимся в лечении рака , спида,лейкамии и других болезней.

 My current primary focus is on finding a cure for cancer. My father &  father-in-law both lost their battle with cancer. My mother won her battle and my wife is currently in the fight. I have lost friends to cancer, have  friends who have beat it & friends in the fight.

Главное особеное направления я уделяю помоши для нуждаюшихся в лечении рака.

 I believe that some day there will be a vaccine for cancer & that it will be eradicated from the face of  this planet. Until then, we’ll keep up the fight.

Bruce, you have been working together with, and with your music inspired many pop stars like Stewie Wonder, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Paul Maccartney and Quincy Jones.Which one of these stars was it easiest and most pleasant to work with?

       Quincy Jones & Steven Spielberg were very pleasant to work with. I wouldn’t say any of them were easy to work with but that is totally fine with   me.

For example, when working with Stevie Wonder, I believe that we learned many things from each other. Nevertheless, Steve was the boss.

Для примера работая с Stevie Wonder я верю мы многому научили друг друга , но всегда он был Босс.
        When he said he liked something he would usually attach a “but” to his sentence. He’d say something like, that is really great, but can you add  more residuation to it. I knew that he was making up words yet, somehow I knew what he meant. I figure that he was setting up a win win  situation.

Когда я говорил что мне что то нравится он всегда делал свои коментарии не соглашаюсь со мной.Даже когда он говори л это очень кластно , всегда просил ну еше добавь придумай что то улучши.Я понимал его, и в конце концов результат его радовал.

 

 Steve gets what he wants & after feeling like I put 100% into the creation, he was able to pull another 10% out of me. I loved that  process. It was seldom easy though.

Steve делал всегда точно что хотел,и когда он чувствовал что я на все 100 процентов сделал что мог, он добовлял свои окончательные 10 процентов.Я очень любил работать с ним , всегда было легко закончить что было задумано.

        Paul McCartney was a pleasure to work with. He was sort of like a dad figure who was happy to hang out & teach me some of the tricks of the  trade. There is a lot of information that I always carry with me.

Мне очень безумно нравилось работать с Paul McCartney он всегда был мягкий как любяший отец,особено он любил меня учить хитростям особенным трюкам при записи песни, ему очень нраивлось учить меня и мне это очень помогала .

 I really got along well with each of the artists mentioned and found a lot of pleasure in working with each of them.

Всегда работая с артистами я был встороне что думает артист и  нахожу множество приятных моментов

       More often than not my relationship with artists is both personal & professional. That combination helps create a good working situation & the  trust factor is crucial.

Чаше всего не только моя дружба была с ними а все вместе и дружба и профессиональная совместная работа.

 

 Michael Jackson became a friend of my family & ran around with my brother, Keith. Michael & Keith were always coming up  with new ways to punk Stevie Wonder. There are a lot of really funny stories when their jokes on Steve were very successful.

Michael Jackson стал другом моей семьи и моего брата, часто обшаясь с ним. Они вдвоем всегда искали путь что то шутливое сделать с Stevie Wonder.

Stevie Wonder’s  mother was my neighbor for a many years. Before her passing she wanted me to come over all the time. She was a beautiful soul & there was a  lot of trust between her, Stevie & I. Stevie still lives close to me but is now married with kids.

Мама Stevie жила много лет в соседнем со мной доме.И прежде чем она умерла всегда приглашала меня к себе в гости.Она была необыкновенной души человек, и всегда между ней и Stevie Wonder было очень доверительное отношение. Stevie  и сейчас живет недалеко от меня , но сейчас он женат и имеет детей.

        Elton John was really funny & we were close for a while. I was producing an artist, Pat Gammon, from Germany & Elton wrote a song for that  record which was really nice of him.

Elton John всегда был очень веселый и были очень близки лишь иногда. Я продюссировал артиста из Германии Pat Gammon и Elton написал песню для его альбома , это кластная песня получилась .
       

 Madonna was a sweetheart to me & we got on great but haven’t stayed in touch for some time. There was a lot of mutual respect in our  relationship, especially when it came to vocals & choirs.

Madonna всегда была ко мне очень мила и мы много всего вместе сделали но вместе мы были не часто , не считая совместной работв по проектам.Мы звимно очень уважали друг друга и понимали , особено когда касалось работы с записью вокал.

        Billy Preston, (the 5th Beatle) was a close friend for a long time. We both loved sports & went to basketball games together & even performed together at an NBA championship game. He spent a lot of time at my house & studio so he had a lot of his equipment dropped of at my house.

Billy Preston был моим другом очень долгое время, мы аместе любили заниматься спортом и особенно часто ходили вместена  баскетбол НБА , смотреть игры нашей команды.Он много времени провел у меня дома, в моей студии,и много оставил своей техники у меня.

 He was a monster talent. He passed away a few years ago & will greatly be missed.

Он был гигантом артистом, Он умер пару лет назад и я скучаю о нем.

        Andrae Crouch has been a personal friend for decades. He also pastors his own church and married my wife & I 21 years ago. He has also been a  neighbor of mine for a long time and we have spent a lot of time together as friends as well as professionally recording many songs together.

Andrae Crouch был моим другом начиная много лет назад.Он был пастером в своей церкви и он поженил нас с моей женой 21 год назад,он также много лет был моим соседом и мы проводили много времени вместе,как и друзья , так и работая много с нашими проектами.

        All in all, I believe that the personal friend side of the relationship goes hand in hand with how well we make records & films together.  

Всегда и во всем я верил , что персональные хорошие взаимоотношения , рука в руку помогали делать новые песни и фильмы.

How do you think, what does it mean to be a star in the world of pop? For example Madonna - what makes her special?

Как ты думаешь,что это значит,быть звездой поп всего мира

 

       I don’t think that there is one specific formula that can be attached to everyone. I would describe a big part of it as the ability to communicate  something that interests the masses, something familiar mixed with something fresh & new. I suspect that exposure is a big part of it.

Я не думаю что имеется специальная формула , которая подхолит всем.Я думаю очень важно умение общатся ,понимать других людей,иногда бывает много совместных интерессов,иногда немного,иногда что то новое ,но я уверен это одно из важных моментов.

 For  longevity, a lot of talent must exist. Also included are things like proper delegation, creativity, drive, good marketing, luck, professionally produced  projects, a good business sense, perseverance & the willingness to work hard, all mixed with an abundance of talent.

Bruce, I know you are friends with the president World Media Alliance and  TV channel 'MaksTV' and in USA - George Sergeev. Do you have any cooperative projects?

 I have had the pleasure of knowing George for about 3 years. In that time we have become very good friends as well as working together on  several music projects. George is a good man & I believe in him personally & professionally.

 I really love his drive to succeed. It has been quite an  honor to work with George on Atlantic Breeze. He has become a much-loved friend of all of my family. I look forward to continued work with George  & creating excellent projects in entertainment.

       There are so many talented artists who are involved in the Atlantic Breeze competition that it is quite difficult to pick an overall winner.         George introduced me to Igor about a year ago. We met at a world heavyweight boxing championship match in LA. Neither Igor or myself had  ever been to a pro boxing match in person & we had a blast. Igor has a great personality as well as being a very talented songwriter and singer.

Георгий пазнокомил меня с Игорем Николаевым где то год назад.Наша первая вреча произошда на матче за звание семпиона мира в тяжелом весе по боксу в Лос Анжелес. И мы с Игорем затем провели бой между собой многочасовой между собой как композиторы.Игорь необыкновенный человек и гениальный композитор и пивец.

        He also quickly became a very good friend to me and all of my family. I would love to have the opportunity to work with Igor in the near future. He  is a good man who has a lot of talent & creativity.

Bruce, what is it that inspires your creative work for all these years? Is it your wonderful wife Tina and your family?

I have been in almost non-stop sessions for the new TV season as well as wrapping a film.

There is no doubt that my wife & children are great inspirations to me. Just about everything inspires me.

Я почти не перестовая работаю над новым телесериалом и новым фильмом.Это не удивительно что мне всегда помогает чувствовать поддержку моей жены и семьи.Мне все помогает когда они рядом.

 My family, world rhythms, spirituality,human behavior, history, science, nature, politics, love, heartbreak, the universe, time & space, philosophy, my mother, father, brother & sisters, books, science fiction, music of all kinds, the city, the mountains, the ocean & beach, travel, sports, meditation, etc.

Моя семья,мировой ритм,религия,человеческое отношение,история,жизнь,политика,любовь,головная боль,вселенная,врепмя и место,философия,мои мать, отец, бартья, сестры,книги,любая музыка,горд, горы, океан,пляж,путешевствия,спорт,медитация и так далее.

Whether awake or asleep, almost everything & everyone I come in contact with is a creative inspiration to me. Of course, not all experiences equally inspire me. I suppose  that it’s a gift that I humbly receive, feel it in my bones & express it the best I can. It’s all grace.

I met you and your son Jonathan in America, in the finales of Atlantic Breeze in New York, May 2010. Could you tell something about the plans of Jonathan? Is he working with music just like you?

 

 

Я встречалась с тобой и с твоим Сыном Джонатаном в Америке,на винале конкурса Атлантик Бризз в Нью Йорке,в Мае 2010 года,можешь сказать о твоих планах и твоего сына,он тоже работает в музыке как и ты.

 

       Yes, Jonathan is also working in the music business. Aside from being my production assistant, he is also a college student & managing a few  music acts. He’s grown up being around the music business. He’s got a knack for the business. He has also spent years performing music as the  lead singer in a hard rock/Metal band. He really gets the crowd going.

Да мой сын работает в музыкальном бизнессе.Кроме того он работает как мой ассистент, он еше учится в университете и продюсирует пару музыкальных проектов.

Он очень лбит и вырос в музыкальном бизнесе,Он уже профессор в этом,он также провел год , как артист и певец в Рок группе,он очень развивается и я рад.

 

It seems like he is leaning more towards the business side verses the performance side of the entertainment industry now. I believe in him completely & know he will be successful in whatever direction he goes in.That sounds like dad talking, which it is, but I truly believe it.
